True Believer

In chapter 5 of True Believer Jeremy Marsh finds a place to stay. The place that is closest to the city is in the middle of no where and is a cabin. He was going to leave but the mayor was there and Jeremy didn't want to leave. The mayor wants him to stay so he can write a column about the place, so they can have more visitors. In chapter 6 the mayor insists that the town has a party for Jeremy Marsh. They have a party for him for being in town.
